Juke Joint and Urban League of Greater Atlanta with The Empowerment Experiment

The Empowerment Experiment is a national movement to identify, create and support quality Black businesses and inspire more consumer and corporate support for them. The mission is to economically empower underserved minority neighborhoods. This movement is grounded in Maggie Anderson's family's historic experiment living off Black business for one year. The book about their journey is "Our Black Year". The book tour fuels The Empowerment Experiment movement.

The Anderson Family is thankful to Terry Harps, Mitch Martin, Nancy Johnson and everyone at Juke Joint and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta for hosting the national book tour launch in honor of "Our Black Year".
